Since you enjoyed coconut recipes, today I propose you the recipe from @wally.aussie ! I remind you that coconut is a fruit rich in mineral salts, such as potassium first of all, but also iron, phosphorus and magnesium; its vitamin content is varied and complete. Being a fairly caloric food, always pay attention to the doses with which you administer it, perhaps avoiding consumption in overweight dogs.
All these nutrients allow the contribution of as many benefits to the dog's health, such as:
increases and improves the body's immune defenses;
takes care of the dog's coat and skin;
reduces bad breath;
prevents problems such as arthritis.
These cookies smell great and are super crumbly!
TIME: 15 minutes for the recipe and 20 for cooking
INGREDIENTS
30 ml (2 tsp) - coconut oil
1 - egg
300 gr (2 and 1/2 cups) - rice flour
water q.s.
(* I added 5 grams (1 tbsp) of honey but it is optional)
METHOD
In a bowl, beat the egg with a fork.
Add the coconut oil (already melted) and the rice flour.
Start mixing and add a little water to reach the right consistency of the dough (it will be quite soft and compact).
Roll out the dough until you get a thickness of 0.5 cm.
Cut the dough with the mold of your choice.
Bake the biscuits in a preheated static oven at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes.
STORAGE
The biscuits will keep well for several weeks in an airtight container, better to put it in the refrigerator given the hot days of the last period.
