Oats are an excellent source of soluble fiber, useful in case of constipation, it contains phosphorus, selenium, iron and magnesium. Good source of B vitamins. Adding a handful of oat flakes to the biscuit dough for your dog will make them super crunchy!
TIMES: 25 minutes for the recipe and 20 for cooking
INGREDIENTS (for about 15 biscuits)

For the biscuits
250 gr (2 cups) - whole wheat flour
120 gr (1/2 cup and 1 tbsp) - sweet potatoes
50 gr (1/2 cup) - oat flakes
1 - egg
20 ml (1 tbsp and 1tsp) - water
25 gr (1 and 2/3 tbsp) - peanut butter
15 ml (1 tbsp) - coconut oil
15 ml (1 tbsp) - beetroot juice
For the glaze
90 gr (1 cup) - oat flour
35 gr (1/4 cup) - corn starch
25 ml ( 1 and 2/3 tbsp) - honey
5 ml (1/3 tbsp) - beet juice
water - according to the consistency you want to obtain
PROCEDURE
Sweet potato cream
Peel the sweet potatoes.
Cut them into pieces.
Steam them (I used the microwave for about 8 minutes).
Let them cool.
Then pour them into the mixer and blend until creamy
Biscuits
In a bowl add the ingredients: flour, sweet potato cream, oat flakes (previously blended), 1 egg, coconut oil, peanut butter and beetroot juice.
Then mix everything, add water if the dough is too dry.
Roll out the dough until it reaches a thickness of 0.5 cm.
Cut the dough with a mold.
Bake the biscuits at 180 ° in a preheated static oven for about 20 minutes (in my case the biscuits have swollen slightly, so I recommend piercing them with a fork to avoid this)
CONSERVATION
They can be kept for about 2 weeks in an airtight container.
